Name incorrect on Reservation . . . easiest way to update after stay?
As I recall, the name on the Marriott reservation has to exactly match the name on your MR account for the points to post.
For a recent stay, one of our company admins booked my room using my nickname.
I stayed, provided my MR card at checkin, but didn't catch that my nickname was there instead of my full first name on the Res. My MR number is on the receipt, but the full first name isn't correct.
What's the best way to get this situation fixed so my points post?
My guess is call the property . . . but I would appreciate anybody who has been in this situation chiming in with their experience in fixing this and getting the points to post. (Meaning, you actually did stay in the room but your name wasn't correct on the res, so the points didn't post).
