UA, itself, does not fly to PPT. NZ (a *A carrier) does fly AKL-PPT but has reduced the frequency to just twice a week (Sun/Thu). So the availability is very limited BUT it can exist. Attempting to book a difficult spot in the peak travel period only a couple of months out is likely to result in disappointment. What award seats that are available were gone months ago.
