I have tried for TWO hours with United as French Polynesia (I assume that means Papeete) shows up in the award chart under Oceania . However, I have not found any agents who can book any travel, award or otherwise, to PPT. I wanted one way PPT to SFO. At first it looked like it flew Dec 20 but when I tried to book it, it said no such thing, must phone. My complaint is that they need to remove this destination if they don't go there anymore. Deaf ears except for a webmaster I hit by United's mistake. One agent suggested that the list of Oceania destinations was just all the islands that exist there, not necessarily the ones they fly to. Huh? Plus, in her ignorance, she was unaware that the list might not even reflect 10% of the islands in the Pacific.

Their voice mail is the pits and my throat is raw. This is a very disappointing airline where I have far too many points these days.
