firehawk, welcome to the BAEC forum!

Please do have a read of the guide signposted at the top of the forum, as it has been written to answer all of your questions and much, much more besides http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/briti...ad-sticky.html

Essentially, the BAEC tiers reward people who travel upwards of 50 sectors per membership year (in any class) OR people who travel fairly regularly in premium classes (World Traveller Plus, Club Europe, Club World or First) on BA or other oneworld airlines.

You need 300 TPs in a membership year for Bronze, 600 for Silver and 1,500 for Gold. Points are reset to 0 at the end of your membership year.

A Club World return from LHR to JFK, for example, will earn you 280 TPs, so almost halfway to Silver after just one return business class longhaul flight.

Enter each sector (eg. LHR-JFK is one sector and JFK-LHR is another sector) here; http://www.britishairways.com/travel...r/public/en_gb and you will find out how many TPs and Avios you will earn per sector.
