so just to recap, say after my membership year ends, I will currently be on the bronze status.
Does that mean I start from 300 Tier points or 0 Tier points?
Then to get Silver I need how many flights internationally or domestically?
After your membership year ends, you will be on 0 Tier Points and bronze.

The number of flights you need is between 4 and 50, depending on what class of travel they are, what distance they are in, and possibly whether they are in expensive booking classes or not. You would need seven one-way flights in World Traveller Plus, for example.
