The deposito baggaglio (left luggage) is indeed operational (at least when I was there last month) and should be toward your right as you exit from picking up your luggage and going through customs. Make sure you have enough time on the way back to get to Terminal 1, pick up luggage and then get to the Terminal where Easy Jet is.
