When they make the MCE changes, do they replace the seats? I had a 757 flight last Wednesday JFK-MIA. The captain said it had the new seats and extra leg room. The F seats had AVOD screens, I didn't notice anything different with the Y seats, though only saw them when disembarking.
Had a 757 for ORD-STL today in a marked MCE row (seat 10F, right behind door 2R), but the seats looked old, and I didn't see any seat back screens anywhere.
if you check out the wiki you will see you then ATA has to the configurations of 757: a domestic one and a longhaul one. You were in one of each. JFK and MIA both have the longhaul 757 aka 75L do short domestic trips on the downtime between the international flights they're intended for in order to maximize fleet utilization.
