This is also possible in hong kong. Worst comes to worst, if there's only wines and <1L 40%+ abv spirits, you are not required by law to declare (wine import is duty free in hk). Clear customs then re-checkin- since it's possible to check in 1 day in advance in hk for Cx/ka
