Taking only the return segment from a round trip itinerary...possible?
hi all,

I have booked a round trip itinerary on UA for SEA-LAX that is coming up soon.
Due to some complicated reasons, I only need the return segment from LAX to SEA, as I will be already in LA ahead of time.
Is it possible to skip the SEA->LAX flight and just take LAX->SEA?
Or will UA deny my boarding/cancel the itinerary if I don't take the outbound flight to LAX?
