She told me my original exit row seat was still available. I grabbed my stuff, and moved back as F was starting to board. Also at the same time an AA employee was escorting someone who I later heard was possibly Patti Labelle into an F seat while thanking her profusely for flying with AA and all but kissing her @$%.
Then, this morning I see they deducted all 6 stickers, not just the 2 for the BOS-ORD portion....
So my question is... any chance the VIP got me booted, or is it all unrelated and just normal upgrade systems that somehow glitched and took too many stickers?
Thanks.
From my understanding (could be incorrect), in a case where it's the same flight number/same aircraft, you clear for the whole flight or none of the flights. Definitely sounds like you got booted for the VIP. I would certainly call AA and raise a fuss.
