In that immediate area with the Timonium Fair Grounds, there is a Holiday Inn Timonium right next to I-83 which is nice. Going north a bit you will find a new Marriott Residence Inn Hunt Valley which is pretty brand spanking new.

There is a Crowne Plaza almost next to the Fair Grounds but avoid it. It is a converted Holiday Inn which has been there forever and a lot of my clients that I put up there have given me nothing but complaints.
