I dread Y not because of the average experience you are likely to receive, but because if things go wrong they can go very badly wrong in a hurry - if you are seated between 2 - 400 pound passengers in a middle seat and the reading light is broken 9 hours is longer than I could stand. I became a mile hoarder after I narrowly escaped that sort of fate.
