I have managed to avoid flying Y long-haul for some time. I would have no trepidation about a long-haul daytime flight in Y. Night flights, OTOH, are a different kettle of fish and I would do my utmost to avoid one, at any rate a long one (a short one, from the Middle East of from the USA East Coast, at a push, I might be OK with).
