Keep in mind that this is mobile broadband, and should you venture outside of the mobile broadband coverage area, you will be without data. If you stay in the larger cities you will be fine but 2degrees is a relatively new entrant so leaches off the non-mobile broadband coverage from Vodafone in non-covered areas.

There are currently $19 deals available on all 3 major mobile providers, with these deals generally including 50 minutes of national calling, 500 MBs data (not mobile broadband so can be used anywhere with coverage) and at least 2500 national txts. As you are a tourist, I'd suggest 2 degrees due to their cheaper international calling. Or you could pick up a cheap calling card to call the US for a few cents. Calls and txts are free to receive.
