I had a long wait in immigration at SFO earlier this summer and a very frustrating transit (cancelled, delayed, gate changes etc and then UA puts the onus on passengers to board quickly as the crew are time limited) but you may be more fortunate.
SQ used to have a wonderful lounge at Incheon which was worth the stopover. Asiana's lounge is not as good as the ANA lounge in Narita - but this is a minor issue.
Most important is your connection time to ORD
