Best deal between LAX-SJD (Cabo) is on AA, using BA Avios.

15,000 Avios/rt, plus about $75 in taxes.

If you'll consider flying out of the San Diego area, Volaris offers some great rates between Tijuana and Cabo.
I've flown for a little as $150/rt.
