I called about an hour ago and the automated line transferred me to a busy signal. I called back and got through immediately.

The agent was really helpful, except she refused to move me to an available AA JFK-LAX departing Monday morning. She said it would be difficult to get them on the phone, and AA might say no to protect their own passengers. Basically it wasn't worth the effort. Not sure how I feel about that, but she did say that in other circumstances she would be happy to OAL.

Monday JFK-LAX-ORD has turned into Tuesday 8pm LGA-ORD. I am not sure why UA is even still selling this flight. When they cancel I will jump to Wednesday morning.

I called a third time and it said the wait time was 30 minutes. It wasn't urgent so I hung up after 10.

I also wonder how difficult getting the RPU returned will be.
