My Delta flight ATL-ORD was diverted last week to Nashville due to a medical emergency. It is rumored a diabetic drank too much and was in insulin shock. I'd like to discover exactly what caused the diversion and resultant 3 hour flight delay. How can I find this out? It should be reported somewhere.

Diverting for a medical emergency seems far more understandable to me than diverting a plane to land in a third country so as to get some mechanics on the ground to fix a grounded plane with a coffee maker problem.
