Citi Trip Cancellation coverage and Priceline bookings?

I'm about to drive cross-country from Virginia Beach to Phoenix on Tuesday. I've got my itinerary all planned out -- VB VA to Huntington WV to St Louis MO to Oklahoma City OK to Albuquerque NM to Phoenix AZ. Only issue is there's a giant storm sitting out at sea right now that's predicted to dump a good 25"+ snow in West Virginia, and basically make a big wall between myself and St Louis.

It'd be easy enough for me to reroute my trip down through NC and Tennessee to avoid the mess, but I've got Priceline "Name Your Own Price" bookings for each stop, which are of course nonrefundable.

My Citi card that I used to book the trip includes "Trip Cancellation Protection". I can't find my original book that described it in detail, but looking through the list of things online, I don't see anything that would make a Priceline "Name Your Own Price" ineligible for this protection. And 25" of snow is a pretty valid reason to cancel a trip.

Anyone have any experience here?
