I prefer the exit row to the bulkhead on the E190. The bulkhead in front of 12D can be a bit restrictive; 12C has more legroom than 12D as the bulkhead doesn't extend in front of C, but seat is a bit narrower, as the table tray is in the armrest. I'd say stick with your exit row seat.
12C is good for tall people who like to stretch their legs out.
The E90 has a 1 + 2 configuration in J, and row 12 is directly behind this.
12C therefore has leg space which sticks into the J cabin, under the curtain.
Since they don't use a cart in J, you can put your feet up there and noone
will notice....
