I honestly think you'll be fine. Just check-in as per usual, hand them your credit card + booking reference; and ID if they ask - I really don't think they'll look at your birthday etc, just whether your details match up. I've gotten away with this quite a few times in the USA - and I also guess dressing appropriately helps your cause as well (I was dressed in a long sleeve shirt + dress pants for a conference), but I digress.
