I have just read on one of the South African news sites that BA is to start a 2nd daily direct flight from LHR-CPT.

Hasn't BA always had a 2nd flight to CPT-with the return a daytime service leaving CPT early morning and arriving at LHR the same day?

It certainly makes sense after SAA has discontinued their daily non stop service.

Apologies if this has already been discussed here but I don't recall seeing anything.

This has to be good news for award availability?
