For those of us with no OD (or for those of you who can't find beans at your local OD), it is actually much cheaper than buying them at Walgreens (if you can even find one that takes cc) or at Family Dollar, etc.

So, in this case, it would cost me $2.50 to load $1k on the Buxx (from a Visa/MC because Citi codes it as a cash advance and they don't accept AMEX). Then, I could use that Buxx to fund the BB at Walmart for $1k/day for free ($5k/month max). Then, use the BB to pay bills that don't normally accept credit cards or actually paying credit card bills. Plus, it increases my spending so I could meet more minimums and bonus thresholds.

If maxed out, this would cost $12.50 to get $5k on the BB per month and pay bills (Plus getting $5k extra per month of spending and whatever points you would earn from that). This is in comparison to $39.50 if buying beans (again, if you even have them available... which I don't).

Now, this is all irrelevant if you can use your Ink card to buy beans at 5x points. This is just for those of us who don't have that option available.

Does anybody see any flaw in this logic? I'm just trying to figure out how I can make use of the new BB without being able to get beans at 5x points. Feel free to PM if you don't want to post publicly.
more or less sound idea, but a cpl things: I have the Nationwide buxx. Loads at $500 max, $2 to load, $800 max spend, $1,000 max balance, $2,500 max monthly load

So while you have a good idea, the math may vary from product to product. I've no idea if you can actually load a BB with the buxx.
