More likely the airline employee or the airline's rep could just innocently claim that did they not have any record of you being there.
Buy a newspaper from the stand nearest the counter where they deny you boarding. Ensure the receipt is time stamped. Take a photo of the agent who perpetrates the offense. Inform them politely you will be taking the matter up with legal authorities.
Then, include all this evidence with your filing. As the airline digs itself deeper into a hole, it will incur further penalties for falsifying the record as well as the IDB/voiding. This also makes it clear that it acts with mala fides against customers with confirmed reservations and makes it more likely to be subjected to future enforcement for the issue.
Truly, I cannot understand how this self-destructive behavior could seem logical to airline staff. At the time someone is flying on an F-ticket, with BP's in hand, the game is done.
And I agree with you and deltahater, when LX does this again, let's all buy tens of tickets. They'll all be enforced. We know it and so do they.
Then we can leave plastic Travelocity gnomes as souvenirs in the F lounge at ZRH and onboard, and send one to the CEO and General Counsel.
