I seriously doubt that AAgents have the power to "push buttons" and change prices on the system so that an individual customer will pay more.
I am assuming that everyone got the much higher quote ... And an hour or so after I made the $129 transaction, all the sites were getting the $400 quote
Maybe it was simply she had started the transaction to the extent that it triggered the system to do a demand response price increase, maybe it was the last 'cheap seat' to be had
