Thumbs up New JAL lounges at NRT

Just a quick first impression of the newly opened (end Sept?) JAL lounges at NRT. These are above the original First and Sakura lounges which remain open. The arrangement with AA appears to have ceased although at least a few days ago it was still showing on the JAL website. The new F lounge has the same feel as the old one, but with a dedicated eating area (turn left as you go in and keep going, food hidden around the corner). There are windows, but all have transluscent coverings, so no views and hence a bit gloomy. However quite comfortable and at the moment still fresh. Food offering is similar to or a bit less than the downstairs lounge. Decent if limited wines (Ayala 'poo, Bon Climat Californian chardonnay and a nice looking Tuscan red), couple of sakes and the usual very good selection of single malts (if you can face those at 9am!). So much the same as down below, but at the moment (09.30) very quiet. Not checked the main lounge today. The extra space is definitely welcome.

Update post Ayala - loos better/bigger than downstairs.
