How do you erase + format an unknown Hard drive to use as external drive ?
I have a few full size Hard Drives that I got at a yard sale , they are 160-250 GB , I would like to put them in an external case and use them as storage for movies etc.

But I have no idea whats on them , I think they were in some Linux computer set up for security cameras , but who knows

I will be using them on a Windows XP computer ,
I tried hooking one up but my computer does not see it.....

Any ideas ?
