I'm trying to redeem a companion voucher for a 10 day trip to Dublin in the fall of 2013. Leaving from the West coast, San Diego or LAX preferred. Routing through LHR is not a problem, in fact we may take the train/ferry to Dublin from London. I would like to use the voucher for a First Class trip, but I only see Wednesday 10/2 and return 10/9 available in Business Class out of SAN. Nothing at all from LAX or Seattle. That would make the trip very short, with 2.5 travel days, leaving only 5 days abroad.
Is this as good as it will get? Should I book Economy outbound and Business home? That gives me lots of choices.
My voucher expires on 11/02/13, so I'm trying to get a jump on availability.
