However, it does sound a bit ridiculous when you are somewhere like Barcelona and your direct flight to London is delayed for a few hours because there's a storm in... Helsinki!
Or when you are in Orlando and your direct flight to LGW is cancelled due to a Hurricane affecting certain islands in the Caribbean (but not one's departure or arrival points)!
