We just got back from a round the world trip, and I noticed that at the three hotels we stayed at (Westin Palace in Madrid, Westin in Melbourne, and Sheraton at the Gold Coast), the internet connections were crazy fast. The thing that truly blew me away were the upload speeds. I ran speedtest a few times and was getting around 10/20. That's 10 megabits per second down, and _20_ megabits per second up.

We actually had many gigabytes of videos to upload, so that was a very nice surprise indeed. I've never seen this kind of speed in a hotel before, so I was astonished to see it in all three hotels we were at. Anyone know if insanely fast internet now a standard thing at SPG hotels or did we just get very very lucky?
