Currently staying at this property. On the IHG website, under dining for this hotel, it says they have a Sundowner Reception Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings that includes beer and wine. This is NOT true. I've been told that they have a licensing problem and haven't been serving beer or wine for a while. This SHOULD NOT be on their website at all, it is deceptive. I picked this hotel, in part, because of the reception.

From the IHG website:
"Take a moment and step back from the fast-paced lifestyle in Las Vegas and sit down to enjoy the complimentary, hot breakfast buffet every morning. On Tues-Thurs evenings, join us for the Sundowner Reception for beer, wine, soft drinks and light meals."

Also, for 10/23, the in-room list shows a BBQ Chicken Quesadillas. At best this was a build your own soft taco bar. A Quesadilla isn't cold soft taco shells and down the other end of the buffet cold cheese to put on it.

I am Priority Club Platinum Elite and was upgrade to a beautiful 1-bedrooms King Suite but I am also Marriott Platium Elite and could have stayed at the Renaissance Las Vegas. There I know I would have had a nice evening reception (sans beer or wine) and would have been upgraded to the club floor. Not sure if I will return here in the future or not.

The front desk has offered 2,000 points for my troubles.
