AAdvantage miles can be used for HA (from HNL) or TN (from LAX or AKL, no longer flies from JFK) or LA (IPC via LIM or SCL). Only LA is part of oneworld, both HA & TN are AAdvantage partners outside of oneworld. AA metal does not fly to PPT

Can someone smarter than me advise how one can do a stopover with *A in AKL using this itinerary?

*Very limited availability on UA.bomb
For a roundtrip XXX-LAX-AKL(stopover)-PPT(destination); PPT-AKL-LAX-XXX should be permitable assuming the mileage isn't over the maximum mileage to PPT

I have found no other info other than this route exists
AF flies CDG-LAX-PPT, i think twice a week. Skyteam awards (or cash) can be used for the LAX-PPT/PPT-LAX segment.

DL also partners with TN (outside of Skyteam) for flights
