Once you put in FLL UA wont show you the other flights that maybe available from other FL citys eg TPA. Best is to put in say EWR-EYW and see what it offers, If starting from FLL then the calendar that pops up should show you which days if any award seats are available
Good strategy, thanks. According to US, I can't use my US miles to book on Cape -- even if they are a United partner and can be booked with United miles. Seems odd to me, but I guess I can use this strategy + United miles to book, if I can find availability. Which won't be all that easy because I need 4 seats. Ugh.
