Just would like to add that the BA Miles collected practically have no expiry date. @:-) The tiniest transaction of one car rental/Hilton stay/other activity opens the gates to an unlimited validity of the Avios collected - so one transaction every 36 months required!

The Lufthansa Miles&More miles of the Blue Members expire after three years after collecting of each mile if they havenīt choosen to fall into the credit card trap and buy an overpriced credit card.

So the applicable rebate is 0 % for some of their miles.

Miles & More should also rethink this part of their programme.
