Kids in Premium Cabins

Hi Guys,

This actually isn't a thread where I let off steam regarding younger children in Premium Cabins. In fact its regarding your level of acceptability to the situation.

I, an older brother to a sister under 10 have and continue to travel J & F long and medium haul. My sisters behaviour isn't great, that is given. Although we aren't like those families who sit back and let their child scream throughout the flight. ESPECIALLY when it's in a premium cabin. Or worse; an overnighter...

We try hard to contain her whinging and whining but never seem to get her to stop it for more than an hour!

Basically what I am trying to ask is, do you find it acceptable for children to fly in Premium Cabins as long as the Parent makes an outstanding effort to contain them?

I for one do, and have lost so many hours of in-flight sleep trying to constantly put movies on for her. In Y, W, J and F alike. And I think this represents that the parents aren't just flying Premium cabins to hope that the children get some sleep. They're trying to make sure they do and also minimise the fuss involved in doing so.

I appreciate your opinions as most people on this forum are frequent flyers.

Thanks
