Any news on the track reconfiguration west of Makkasan which will allow a single express train to service both Makkasan and Phaya Thai?

Re: the passenger interchange, will that be "luggage friendly", or the usual Thai walking bridge with incredibly narrow, steep stairs with multiple switch-backs?
