Something to take note is, it says if accommodations are not available they will give you a voucher for the contracted hotel rate. When I was stuck in ATL due to MX on Friday of Labor Day weekend and no hotel was available they were offering $50 vouchers. . . which may be their contracted rate, but to me it seemed insulting to offer $50 in exchange for having to sleep in the airport. Another customer was apparently very upset--I don't know what he said to the agent but the agent started yelling at the customer. This could have been on Jerry Springer. The worst example of customer service I've ever witnessed, courtesy of Delta. . .and now I won't ever put anything beyond the agents at ATL.

Oh well, I arranged someone to pick me up at the airport and skip my final segment. No way I was going to overnight in that horrid airport. Only took a half hour on the phone to get my ticket reissued
