And in regard to your threats to take your business elsewhere--do understand the simple fact: they just don't care! Keep this in mind and you'll save yourself a lot of aggravation.
The Chase reps on the phone will never help you. I mean never. Trust me. Try some formal complaints if you lost points to CFSB and NY atty General. You could call Chase exec offices. As crazy as this sounds if you had 100K in your checking account and your bank manager contacted the card division they would tell him to get screwed. That is the way things are over there.
