Thanks for the replies. Here's my issue: United officials wouldn't even let me check luggage or almost even get on the plane the last time I tried this. So dealing with Nigerian side (with help from Ben Franklin even) is not my issue. It's being allowed on the flight on the first place without having a Nigerian visa.
