Oh and for those that have missed it, work finally started a few weeks ago on the much delayed pedestrian interchange between the CAT and MRT Phetchaburi stations.

I won't give a timeframe but I'd suggest that the previous late 2011 announcement that it would be done by end of June 2012 would be close to correct, if you add a year.
