Hi all,
Just checked out of the HR Louisville. Had an internet charge on my bill, and was told it was because I used the internet on both my laptop and iPad.
I asked to speak with a supervisor, and she agreed to take the charge off this time, but said they installed a new system that automatically gives Diamonds complimentary internet but limits it to one device. You have to pay an internet charge for any further devices.
This means not only that I can't use my tablet and laptop, but that I can't connect my iphone to wifi, and obviously anyone staying in the room with me can't use wifi either.
Is this correct? I wanted to see if anyone else had encountered this problem before I escalated the issue.
A secondary issue is that she refused to give me any contact info for a manager, saying that the only way to get in contact is via the survey that Hyatt sends out.
Thanks for your input!
p.s. The hotel also put breakfast tip on my bill, and (fairly snottily) agreed to take it off as a "one-time exception", so I wasn't impressed with their knowledge of the GP program. The supervisor said that if they included tip, "nothing would stop me from adding a $100 tip to the bill."
