If you frequently take *A award flights on airlines that don't have YQ when purchased using Aeroplan miles, it is very very hard to beat a consistent 2 miles/$ for all non-category spend (on a no annual fee card too)!

2 Aeroplan miles > 1 starpoint > 1.07 URs methinks.
I currently use that card a lot, but did not know you could redeem for anything other than cash. Do you just turn off auto redemption? and what is the best way to transfer the points (call vs. online)?
