Return portion of trip is W fare ICN-SFO-LAS. ICN-SFO gpu cleared at booking, SFO-LAS portion did not. Today got an email for waitlist notification at t-24. It shows my seats correctly, biz on tpac and economy to vegas. However the email reads that my ICN-SFO is not a confirmed upgrade. United.com does show upgraded on seat listing.

Is this typical for a waitlist notification? I'm not worried about short flight but don't want to lose my upgrade for the tpac and wondering if I should call in. Thanks.
