Thanks for your input guys. Situation is more clearer now. I am going with Option1 i.e. flying into and out of LGA. The people I was gonna meet are gonna meet me anywhere in NY so no need to go to NJ. So I guess now there is no need for rental car, right? Now, considering I want to visit ESB, 911 Memorial, and Central park and that I arrive in LGA at 10:45PM and leave Tuesday at 4PM, 1) where should I stay? 2)how do I travel to these sites from where I stay. Ofcourse the cheaper the option, the better but I am willing to pay more for the stay if it means I will save a couple of hours of commute time and hassle.
