I used a similar promo (which, for me, was back in June). I bought 3 $100 gift cards, and got 1,500 posted to my account immediately after purchase for each $100 card. In addition, I stayed at BW 3 nights and got 2,000 for each night posted to my AE account immediately after my stays. BUT, my promo was through the BW website, not the Aeroplan website. BUT, I think the link on the Aeroplan website takes you to the promo page on the BW website?
Not sure if BW needs to be involved, but maybe you could try calling their customer service to see if there's something that needs to be done with them to prove the cards were purchased/used?
I know when I used the promo, I needed to log into my BW account, and needed my points 'auto-transferred' to Aeroplan in order to qualify. That might provide you with some clues.
Honestly, I was all ready to call up and fight for unposted points, but this time, it was all posted smoothly (but only after a giant debacle on the BW website that lead to problems with an over the phone gift card order - and after many rounds with customer service and a supervisor, I got a $50 gift card for my troubles)...it's always something...
