I think the bigger question is what happens if the curtain moves the other way?
For example, let's say that when ASR opens, EC starts at row 4, and so I select 4A. Then KL sell more J-class seats than expected, and so the system moves the curtain aft, and EC starts at row 6. Do I get moved back to 6A - and if so, what happens to any pax who had already booked 6A? Do I get moved back to regular economy? Do I get a free upgrade to J?
(Unlikely, I know...) Or do I get left with no seat assignment at all? And perhaps most importantly, do I get an email telling me of this change - or do I only find out at check-in?
