I'm new to National and was given Executive Status through a work promotion, so I'm not quite sure how all this works. I'll be travelling with my wife and 6 month old twins this January to visit the in-laws, I'll need a Tahoe or minivan for all of our gear. After reading through this thread I'm assuming that when renting from the SAN location, it's best to make the reservation for the vehicle you need and not try to gamble, is that correct?
