For United code-share flights operated by another Star Alliance airline, refer to the Aeroplan Miles section of the carrier operating the flight.

So it appears I have a flight booked from BOS to YYZ on UA operated by AC, and I'm not sure how this works.
If I pull up the reservation on AC, it says I'm in "Tango, K".
http://www.aircanada.com/en/aeroplan...des/howto.html says K is Tango Plus.
What exactly is happening here?
P.S. It also says my other UA flight is "Tango, K", but it's an actual UA operated flight, so should still qualify for status miles, right? I can make my Prestige without the BOS-YYZ, but not without my SFO-BOS.
The chart is for united flights so if you book on United you get what you see so no issues. When we are dealing with an AC booked flight code share on United, then you may risk lost status miles, however saying this all of my Tango Plus flights code shared on United has given me 100% status miles.
If you book on United code share on AC, you risk Tango fares though! There are some of those fares and I discouvered that in the last 72 hours as I plan my January Hawaii trip. On united web site it tells you how many mile syou earn and you see 100% on the side of the miles. You need to pay attention as some United code share flights on AC I received a 0% next to the milage earn box????? so one must be careful.
Only on the code share flights i.e UA,LH,ZX etc does the booking class on AC changes to another booking class on the other carrier. This is what I call the RISK factor when booking these codeshare flights. UA in my expereince is very easy, and has always come through for me, atleast up to now. I am booked on United for December but that was a United booking no code share. Until this is sorted i may avoid these code shares if i want the milage.
