Looking for advice/ideas. Against all odds, I have Avios I'd like to burn up for a family trip THIS Christmas from MSN/MKE/ORD or vicinity. I'm looking to use them for AA flights in the U.S., Caribbean or Latin America and to somewhere preferably warm, but not a dealbreaker.....would consider a ski trip or other.
I have searched on AA's website to everywhere I can think of in the Caribbean, and somewhat in Latin America and believe it or not, can't find any availability.
Have any folks booked ANYWHERE recently during Christmas week and/or have any ideas of any destinations that may have more of a chance of availibility? I am NOT asking anyone to search or do any homework for me, just advice.
Also, is anyone aware of any type of award search engine that is extremely flexible, in that I could input the outbound airport, but leave the destination open and it would give multiple options?
