Now I'm confused.

So it appears I have a flight booked from BOS to YYZ on UA operated by AC, and I'm not sure how this works.
If I pull up the reservation on AC, it says I'm in "Tango, K".
http://www.aircanada.com/en/aeroplan...des/howto.html says K is Tango Plus.
What exactly is happening here?
P.S. It also says my other UA flight is "Tango, K", but it's an actual UA operated flight, so should still qualify for status miles, right? I can make my Prestige without the BOS-YYZ, but not without my SFO-BOS.
